Race Recap:
Starting from seventh, Antron Brown and the Matco Tools Top Distributor Top Fuel team faced Doug Kalitta in the opening round of eliminations on Monday morning. Brown used his machine-like reflexes to capture the starting line advantage but quickly powered into tire smoke, and Kalitta was able to drive away with the win.

“We really thought we had a good chance today. Our Matco Tools Toyota was running really strong. We had a great 60-foot time, it was just overly aggressive, and it caused us to lose the round.
